Server Settings
Server changes
- Mobs are significantly weaker to allow for solo play. I suggest not doing bigger groups than 3 players or it'll get boring.
- Note that you may still die if you're not careful. I suggest getting some sort of ranged weapon to pull enemies from afar.
- NPC aggro radius reduced to 30% of vanilla.
- Mobs bring max 1 friend when pulled from afar.
- Weapons and armor have been significantly buffed.
- Added treasure chests scattered around the world with leveling equipment.
- Added a network of teleporting NPCs that can be gradually unlocked as you travel the world.
- Added a bunch of lewd NPC attacks (textual only, because AFAIK nobody's cracked the animation system yet).
- Added a handful of fun quests for toys and trinkets.
- Added an epic vanilla class quest for every class once you hit level 51. These reward powerful chestplates with custom effects tailored to each class.
- Added additional minion bosses to dungeons.
- EXP is live-like. But since enemies are significantly weaker, you'll be leveling faster.
- Quest rewards from non-custom quests have been significantly buffed, because they're a pain to do. I've improved spawn and drop chances for many quest items though.
Character changes
- Melee classes have been completely overhauled and have been given a bunch of custom abilities. You get these automatically as you level.
- Certain essential skills will auto level to a minimum level, such as mend for monks, sneak and hide for rogues.
- You can play as a Vah Shir. You start in Qeynos. (You can't play as a lizard yet, but I'm working on it).
- You can play as all classes except beast lord (saving that for Luclin).
- Max level is 51 to allow for AA. And many AA abilities have had their levels reduced.
- You regenerate HP and mana significantly faster while sitting out of combat.
- No EXP or item loss on death.
- Players can only be feared for 6 sec at a time.
- Vah Shir can now be druids, paladins, clerics, and rangers. How agnostic paladins and clerics work, I have no idea. Cats!
- Half elves and wood elves can now be clerics.
- Half elves can now be shadow knights.
- Many spells are faster to cast and have reduced mana cost, especially DoTs, life steal and heals to help with soloing.
Tradeskill changes
- Added easy to make cooking and brewing recipes to assist with things like teleporting home or increasing your movement speed.
- Added tradeskill crates from high level chests that can make leveling tradeskills easier.
- Added legendary crafted charms.
- You can no longer fail trivial recipes.
- Added a quest that significantly speeds up spell research for the casters.
Zone changes
- Splitpaw has been completely revamped as a level 30-40 zone with gnolls, dark elves, and elementals fighting for control.
- Cazic thule has been reduced to a level 30-40 zone.
