Currently all classes are supported except beast lord. Whereas technically you could create one, you won't have access to your spells or trainer until Shadows of Luclin is released.

Class Role Summary Pros Cons
Bard Support DPS Bards are an outlier in that they can do a bit of everything, albeit at a small time frame. Bard is a good choice if you can't decide on a more specialized class to play. Good in a party. Does a bit of everything. Can move while casting. Highest run speed in game. Requires a lot of attention and button presses to perform well.
Beastlord N/A Disabled until luclin
Berserker DPS Deals heavy damage with a big 2-hander. Gets a few minor utility abilities. Fairly easy to play, difficulty comes from managing endurance. Best melee AoE. Easy to play. No bells or whistles. Just straight up melee damage.
Cleric Heal Fairly straightforward, you'll be healing and buffing, and have access to stun, smite, invulnerability, and even a bit of lull to make pulls easier in the hardest parts of the world. Best heals in game. Tanky. Good both solo and in groups. People consider you a healslut. Mediocre damage. People consider you a healslut.
Druid Heal Druids are a hybrid healing class with access to DoTs and direct damage spells. You get decent buffs and damage shields. Versatile. Can teleport players around the world. Decent buffs. Best root spells in game. Root spells aren't all that useful on the JasX server. Isn't the best at anything else.
Enchanter Support DPS Excellent at crowd control and has the best haste buffs and shielding spells in game. Can create enchanted metals to save money on jewelcrafting. Has mind control and mana regen. Chest epic buffs cast times. Best crowd control. Best shielding spells. Best haste. Mana regen buffs. Can slow enemies. Excellent if you plan to duo. Free runes means it can act as a shield-healer. Just be careful with DoTs. Less damage than the other casters. Not that great solo.
Magician DPS Summon powerful elementals to help them fight. They have excellent direct damage spells, outperformed only by wizards. The strongest class for trash mobs on the JasX server. Leveling will be a snooze. NO defenses or self heals at all. You rely entirely on your pet to keep you safe, meaning you'll need to bring a healer to the hardest dungeons.
Monk DPS Hybrid tankish DPS. Can feign death. Good self healing. Kung fu animations. Weaker DPS than berserker or rogue. More technical than the other melee classes. Can only be human or iksar.
Necromancer DPS DoT caster who can also summon a skeletal pet, convert HP to mana, and steal health. Excellent solo. Mana pool lasts significantly longer than other casters. Can feign death. Relatively low DPS on trash mobs since a lot of your DoTs will be wasted to overkill.
Paladin Tank Probably the tankiest class on the JasX server since they can stun, heal, and buff. Can lay hands for an instant full heal. Excellent surviviability. Worst DPS in game.
Ranger DPS Can do melee or bow damage. Gets access to lower level druid abilities like root, snare, and minor DoTs and heals. Very strong with a bow. Bow requires a tank to fully utilize. Need to craft arrows.
Rogue DPS Probably the strongest melee DPS when paired with a tank. Can backstab for huge amounts of damage. Sneak attacks can one shot mobs. Best invisibility in games. Best melee DPS when paired with a tank. Less DPS when soloing.
Shadow Knight DPS Like a necromancer and warrior rolled into one. You keep yourself alive via life taps. At max level you get a particularly strong instant cast one by completing a quest. Can feign death. Decent solo. Better DPS than a paladin. Still fairly low DPS compared to the other classes. A lot of townsfolk won't associate with you.
Shaman Heal Heals and uses damage over time spells. Has access to some of the best buffs in game. Can do alchemy. Can also slow enemies, making it excellent both solo and in a group. Excellent buffs. Can slow enemies. Pretty good solo. Can turn HP to mana. Buffs take forever to cast. Not very good AoE.
Warrior Tank A more DPS-oriented tank. Good survivability and fairly easy to play. Can use most weapons and armor in game. Good survivability. More DPS than paladin/SK. Have to level EVERY weapon type to be fully efficient. Not as survivable as Paladin.
Wizard DPS Do you want to blow things up? Then go wizard! You gain access to rudimentary shielding spells, and the strongest direct damage spells in game. You can also teleport players around. End fights before they begin. Walking is for chumps. Not as good solo as the other casters. Celibacy.
